As an individual you can not deduct 100% of your medical costs. You can only deduct the amount over 10% of your adjusted gross income (AGI). For example, if you spend $20,000 for surgery and your AGI is $35,000 you can not deduct any of your surgery.

However, if you have a C Corporation, you can deduct 100% of your cost of medical expenses. One way to include co-pays and other costs is with a Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan (MERP). Or a section 125 plan. Read more at the link below
